Make A Difference
We believe in impacting both our local community and those all over the world. Through the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada (PAOC), a registered Canadian charity, we support two global worker families that serve in Port au Prince, Haiti and Toronto, Ontario. We also support a local Campus worker through Intervarsity Christian Fellowship (IVCF) right here in Quebec. The people below are our hands extended, fulfilling the purpose of “reaching the one”.

Louise Charbonneau
GLOBAL WORKER - HAITI
After working in Ivory Coast for nine years, the Charbonneaus felt called to Haiti in 1996. According to the UN, nearly half the population there battle with extreme poverty and many families struggle to feed themselves. The gangs have made life even worse and very dangerous. They began a church for children and youth, where weekly meetings are held.
They also run a ChildCARE Plus children sponsorship program and a school that teaches hundreds of students from kindergarten to Grade 13. Their school seeks to work with the neediest families of their community providing meals and education to the children.
After more than 20 years of operating this school, they have witnessed hundreds of graduates go on to obtain higher education. They have also seen many of these students and their families come to faith in Jesus. Pastor Michel passed away to be with the Lord in December of 2024. Louise is presently working remotely in Canada awaiting an opportunity to return to continue her leadership role.
Ejay Tupe
GLOBAL WORKER - TORONTO, ONTARIO
As an Mission Canada urban worker in downtown Toronto, Ejay ministers to those in the urban core who find themselves in cyclical poverty. He has been a consistent presence on the streets of Toronto for over 11 years.
Ejay believes that marginalized people cannot be saved through programs. Loving people with deep compassion is a precious calling. This is why he believes in serving in whatever capacity he is able in order to meet these needs. It is an incredible privilege to be trusted by the people he serves. Ejay is grateful for how he is able to journey with people in the margins. Ejay, and his wife Cheryl, serve to be a bridge to their neighbours both rich and poor, building community amongst them and practicing radical hospitality. They do this so they may have a glimpse into the kingdom of God.
